Standard Terms and Conditions for Businesses

These terms apply to businesses, organisations, employers, and commercial clients who enquire about or use services provided through ReqKing.

1. Scope of services

ReqKing provides business-facing services that may include HR support, talent acquisition, recruitment support, salary benchmarking, recruitment budgeting, employee relations support, business performance support, growth support, strategy input, and new business support.

Any service may be provided as advisory support, consulting, retained partnership, project support, or another agreed format.

2. No automatic engagement

Submission of an enquiry, form, or website request does not create a formal client relationship.

A business relationship begins only when both parties agree the scope of services, commercial terms, and engagement basis.

3. Client responsibilities

The business agrees to provide accurate and timely information where required for service delivery.

The business remains responsible for its own internal decisions, employment practices, compliance obligations, hiring approvals, and final commercial outcomes.

4. Nature of advice

ReqKing provides practical HR, recruitment, people, and business support based on the information made available at the time.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, ReqKing does not provide legal advice, regulated financial advice, tax advice, or formal compliance certification.

5. Recruitment and hiring support

Where ReqKing supports hiring or talent acquisition, final hiring decisions remain entirely with the client.

ReqKing does not guarantee that any role will be filled, that any candidate will accept an offer, or that any hire will remain employed for a minimum period unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

6. Benchmarking and budgeting information

Salary benchmarks, hiring budgets, and market guidance are provided on a best-efforts basis using professional judgment, available market understanding, and relevant context.

These insights are indicative only and should not be treated as a guaranteed market outcome.

7. Employee relations and HR matters

Where ReqKing provides support on employee relations, performance, or people issues, the client remains responsible for all final decisions, documentation, communications, and legal compliance.

The client should obtain independent legal advice where a matter involves legal risk, dispute, dismissal, discrimination, regulatory exposure, or formal proceedings.

8. Strategy and growth support

Any support relating to business growth, strategy, team planning, or new business development is advisory in nature.

ReqKing is not responsible for the client’s commercial decisions, market performance, revenue outcomes, or strategic implementation results.

9. Fees and payment

Fees, billing terms, timelines, and payment conditions shall be agreed separately in writing before formal service delivery begins.

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices must be paid within the period stated on the invoice.

10. Confidentiality

ReqKing will treat client information as confidential except where disclosure is required by law, requested by the client, or necessary for the reasonable operation of the service.

The client agrees not to disclose confidential proposals, pricing, documents, or service materials without permission.

11. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all original frameworks, written recommendations, process materials, templates, and service documents created by ReqKing remain the intellectual property of ReqKing.

The client may use final deliverables for its own internal business purposes unless restricted in writing.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReqKing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, or loss-of-profit damages arising out of use of the website or services.

Total liability, where legally applicable, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the client for the relevant service giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

Either party may stop discussions or terminate a proposed engagement before a formal agreement is in place.

If a live engagement exists, termination terms should follow the written agreement covering that engagement.

14. Website content

Content on the ReqKing website is for general business information and service explanation only.

Nothing on the site creates a guarantee of outcome, engagement, or service availability.

15. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales unless otherwise agreed in writing.
